The 22nd APT Telecommunication/ICT Development Forum (ADF-22)

The 22nd APT Telecommunication/ICT Development Forum (ADF-22) is scheduled from 14 to 16 October 2025 in a hybrid format (both physical and virtual/online attendance through Zoom meeting).

APT Telecommunication/ICT Development Forum (ADF) serves as a platform for regional dialogues on telecommunication and ICT developments, facilitating the exchange of good practices, encouraging regional cooperation, and promoting capacity building in telecommunications and ICTs. This ADF-22 will consist of the following contents:

• Thematic Sessions: ADF-22 will highlight important themes aligned with the APT Strategic Plan 2024-2026 and reflect the vision outlined in the Ministerial Statement 2025, also known as the “Tokyo Statement,” with a focus on digital connectivity, digital transformation, trust and safety, digital inclusion, and sustainability. The focused themes are as follows:
  1. Ensuring Connectivity: National Broadband and Universal Digital Infrastructure Plan in the Asia-Pacific
  2. Harnessing New and Emerging Technologies: Latest Trends and Real-World Applications
  3. Driving Digital Transformation in Public and Private Sectors: Use Cases and Best Practices
  4. Building Trust and Security in the Digital Ecosystem
  5. Telecommunications/ICTs for Climate Actions, Unprecedented Events and Natural Hazards
• Sessions for EBCs: A platform to share the status, progress, outcomes, and achievements of the ICT Pilot Projects implemented by APT Members based on the Extra-Budgetary Contributions (EBCs) from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.

Registration
For both physical and virtual/online attendance, registration should be completed by 30 September 2025 online at https://apt.int/Event_regis#2025-ADF22 to make necessary arrangements. Please indicate the mode of delegates’ participation on the online registration form. Only registered participants are entitled to attend the meeting.

Submission of Contribution(s)
To submit contribution(s), APT members are requested to prepare their documents in Microsoft Word and/or PowerPoint (English version). Please use the proper template from the APT Secretariat and send the contribution(s) via e-mail to [email protected]. The submission deadline is 7 October 2025. The template will be available soon.
