The 34th Meeting of the APT Wireless Group (AWG-34)

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) will organize the 34th Meeting of the APT Wireless Group (AWG-34) from 31 March to 4 April 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The meeting will be hosted by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Nepal (MoCIT) and the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA). The Plenary will be conducted in hybrid mode (there can be online participation) and the breakout meetings will be conducted in physical mode (no online participation).
AWG covers various aspects of wireless systems to meet the emerging digital convergence era in the Asia-Pacific region. It also assists in providing effective radiocommunication solutions and facilitating the transfer of technology and knowledge. In its 34th meeting, the AWG will continue to study the existing work items, report on the progress of studies and discuss the proposal of new work items as well as other relevant issues.
For both physical and online attendance, registration shall be done online at https://www.apt.int/content/online-registration by 17 March 2025 for making necessary arrangements. Please indicate in the registration form whether your participation is physical or online. Only the registered participants are entitled to join the meeting. APT Secretariat will provide detailed information to the registered participants prior to the meeting. APT members and International/Regional organizations who wish to submit contribution(s) on the agenda items should prepare their contribution(s) in Microsoft Word and/or PowerPoint, English version and in proper template provided by APT Secretariat and send it to [email protected]. The deadline for submission of contribution(s) is 24 March 2025.
