ASTAP: Expert Group on Seamless Access Communication System (EG SACS)

Objectives:

  1. Survey and discussion on the appropriate framework of the seamless access communication systems, applications and services
  2. Sharing the information of the seamless access communication systems standardized by international organizations
  3. Study of possible regional harmonization on system requirements of seamless access communication systems, taking into account the technology trends in the APT countries
  4. Making input contributions based on (1)-(3) to International and Regional Standardization Organizations such as ITU-T
  5. Development of the worldwide standards on system requirements of wired and wireless seamless access communication systems through the activities (1)-(4).

Output/Deliverables:

  1. APT Report and/or Recommendation on seamless access communication systems, applications and services
  2. Contributions based on (1) to International and Regional Standardization Organizations such as ITU-T
  3. Worldwide Standards on the seamless access communication systems through the activities such as (1) and (2)
