APT Training Course on Preparing for International Conferences 2025 (TCPIC-2025)

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) will organise the Training Course on Preparing for International Conferences 2025 (TCPIC-2025), to be held from 12 to 15 March 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. This four-day, in-person training course will offer participants the opportunity to gain practical experience in discussion, negotiation, and coordination on matters addressed at international conferences. This training course is supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Japan (Extra-budgetary Contribution from Japan: EBC-J).

The programme is designed to familiarise participants with the structure, functioning, and decision-making processes of international meetings, while equipping them with the essential skills required for effective participation and contribution.

In 2025, the training will focus on the structure and processes of APT WTDC and WTDC. It will be held back-to-back with APT WTDC-3, scheduled to take place from 17 to 18 March 2025 in Thailand. APT WTDC is one of the important APT Work Programmes with the aim of developing working methods and a work plan for the preparation of WTDC-25 and preliminary discussions on key issues of WTDC-25. This training course is designed to strengthen participants' knowledge and skills in preparation for the conference by providing relevant lectures and practical exercises led by experts with extensive experience and expertise in WTDC.

Lectures will be delivered by regional and international experts, including those closely involved in the activities of APT and WTDC.
