The 22nd Meeting of the South Asian Telecommunication Regulators’ Council (SATRC-22)

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) organized the 22nd Meeting of the South Asian Telecommunication Regulators’ Council (SATRC-22) from 1 to 3 November 2021. Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation in the Asia-Pacific region, APT Secretariat in consultation with the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of SATRC decided that SATRC-22 will be organized virtually.

SATRC meeting is held annually to discuss and coordinate regulatory and other related issues in the area of telecommunication and ICT that are common for the SATRC Members. The meeting was attended by the heads of telecommunication regulatory bodies, designated senior level officers of SATRC Members. Other APT members are also welcome to participate at SATRC-22.

SATRC-22 discussed the key policy and regulatory issues in SATRC Member countries, approved the outcomes of SATRC Action Plan Phase VII and discussed and adopted SATRC Action Plan Phase VIII.
