6th APT Cybersecurity Forum (CSF-6)

The 6th Cybersecurity Forum (CSF-6) was held from 20 to 22 October 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Forum was hosted by the APT and supported by the Extra Budgetary Contributions from Australia and Japan.
The APT Cybersecurity Forum (CSF) brings together stakeholders responsible for cybersecurity systems in the Asia-Pacific region to enhance the regional collaborative efforts in combating cybercrime, enhancing cybersecurity and countering spam and other threats. Cybersecurity is also one of the work items under the APT Strategic Plan for 2015-2017 adopted by the APT General Assembly held last year in Yangon, Myanmar.
The CSF-6 focused on topics that are essential and urgent issues for cybersecurity especially in developing countries in coming years such as: Existing and emerging cybersecurity threats – trends and challenges; Issues for Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT/CSIRT); Improving DNS security and combating SPAM; International collaboration to strengthen trust and confidence in ICT; Raising online privacy and cybersecurity awareness; and Best practice in cyber legislation and guidelines.
