The APT Workshop on "RFID in Ubiquitous Environment" was held on 9 September 2005 in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. The event was organized by the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) and hosted by the Ministry of Information Industry (MII), Peoples Republic of China.
The objective of the workshop on "RFID in Ubiquitous Environment" was to introduce and promote the potentiality of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, a key enabler of the Ubiquitous Network Environment. The workshop would discuss the RFID technology trends, standards, regulation and applications in context of the Asia-Pacific Region
