The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) organized the South Asian Telecommunication Regulators’ Council (SATRC) Workshop on Spectrum Management from 18 to 20 December 2019 in Goa, India. The workshop was hosted by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, India.

The SATRC Workshop on Spectrum Management was a part of the implementation of SATRC Action Plan Phase VII for 2019–2020 which was approved by the 19th Meeting of the SATRC held in Islamabad, Pakistan in 2018. The workshop focused on spectrum licensing and pricing, spectrum re-farming and developing spectrum roadmap. The objective of the workshop was to give an in-depth analysis on the work items under the SATRC Working Group on Spectrum in order to increase the understanding on the issue. The workshop also shared the outcomes of World Radiocommunications Conference 2019 (WRC-19) and its implication for spectrum management. It will give an opportunity for the SATRC Members to share their experiences and future plan on spectrum management.
