First Meeting of the Correspondence Group on the Strategic Plan of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity for 2018-2020 (CGSP-1)

The 1st Meeting of the CGSP was held from 7 to 8 February 2017 at APT Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand.

The objectives of the meeting were:

To review the objectives of APT stipulated in the Constitution;
To review APT members? commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2020, ITU Strategic Plan for 2015?2018, and previous Ministerial Statements and Declarations of APT, etc.;
To analyze current Strategic Plan for 2015-2017 and its implementation status;
To set the principle of drafting the Strategic Plan of APT for 2018?2020; and
To identify and prioritize the activities of APT for 3 years.
