10th Asia Pacific Telecommunication and ICT Development Forum (ADF-10)

The 10th Asia Pacific Telecommunication and ICT Development Forum (ADF-10) was held from 20 to 22 August 2013 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The meeting was organized by the APT and hosted by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
The main objectives of the ADF are:
- To provide a platform for Governments, Regulators, industry players and all stakeholders to discuss ways for development of telecommunications and ICT including mobile and broadband services within the region;
- To assist development of the rural communities with appropriate strategies for ICT development;
- To share the outcome and achievements of the Projects on Exchange of ICT Researchers and Engineers and ICT Pilot Projects for rural areas;
- Attract investment for Broadband Infrastructure.
The ADF-10 considered topics on Broadband Development, Next Generation Networks (NGN), Contents and Applications Developments, Climate Change and Green Technology for ICT Development.
