3rd APT International Mobile Roaming Workshop

The 3rd APT International Mobile Roaming Workshop is being held in Bangkok, Thailand from 10 to 11 May 2012. The Workship is organized by the APT.
The objective of the Workshop is to finalize the draft guidelines and recommendations for the 5 aspects of IMR discussed by the IMR Working Group, specifically: (i) transparency; (ii) bill shock measures; (iii) substitutes; (iv) bilateral/ multilateral arrangements on IMR and (v) sharing of APT's works on IMR, with a a particular emphasis on reducing the high IMR costs in our region.
It is expected that the output from this workshop will be presented to the next APT Policy and Regulatory Forum for further action as may be required.
